Roth
First Appearance: #001
Roth's parents may have named him after David Lee Roth, but his musical tastes leaned more towards Sisters of Mercy and The Cure. His taste in music inevitably lead him to become the goth he is today. For now he's a retail wage slave but toiling away on his Korg he dreams of making waves in darkwave music. He actually has a bit of talent and might actually get somewhere with it if he weren't such a slacker. When his roommate skipped out on him without warning two days before rent was due, Roth found himself in a desperate position and took on Earl as a roommate despite their differences.
Earl
First Appearance: #001
Earl was born and raised on a farm and never left the county he was born in until recently. After winning ten grand on a lottery ticket a powerful case of wanderlust hit him and he set out for the big city, bringing one of his pigs (Millie) with him for company. He had quite a bit of trouble finding a place for he and Millie to live until he found Roth, so he thinks Roth is just swell for a weirdo. Earl's a generally good guy who means well, but he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Millie

Chad
First Appearance: #011
Chad prefers to go by the name Forest Son, despite the fact that he wasn't born in a forest. In fact, he has never even been in a forest beyond well established camp grounds. For all his writing articles for enviromentalist websites and loudly supporting any treehugging cause he can find he's actually just a shallow, self-righteous enviromental engineering major that smokes a lot of pot and tries to be the exact opposite of what his yuppie parents want him to be while having no qualms going to school and living off their corporate blood money.
Rhianna
First Appearance: #017
Rhianna is a strong willed, no nonsense kind of girl. She's had a hard life and it has made her a hard girl. She was quite beligerently antisocial until Roth came along and won her over which has softened her demeanor somewhat.. They've been dating for quite some time now. Between being a full time student, working full time managing a drug store photo lab, and trying to stay involved in the local arts community it's amazing that she finds any time for him, but she somehow manages.
Slug

Alicia's life changed when during her freshman year of high school Green
Day released Warning and the radio played "Minority" with nauseating
frequency. She jumped on the bubblegum punk bandwagon with true teeny-bopper
zeal and eventually aquired the nickname Slug. As she's grown up she's
gained some exposure to decent punk music but still gravitates towards
the shit you'd find on MTV. She doesn't have any real friends since she's
horribly annoying but she's usually on so many pills that she's semi-oblivious
to the fact that no one enjoys her company.
